Rushton's Summer School of Skating 2009 runs July 6 - August 7th, 2009 with competitive Extension Ice August 10th - 12th.
Located in Parksville, BC at Oceanside Place arena, our school has a variety of features including:
- A complete training program both on and off the ice. A disciplined training atmosphere in a new multiplex facility.
- Training site of many past and present national champions and competitors.
- Use of Video - Available to all Coaches at the School.
- Billeting Asistance Available if needed.
- Arena is located close to the beach - ideal for water sports, sunning, etc.
- Motels, campgrounds nearby.
- Also tennis courts, picnic areas, playing fields, and playground close to the Arena.
- Golf and Mini-Golf close by.
- Fun Dress-up days every Friday for prizes.
- Skater of the Day and Skater of the Week Awards.
